I do not remember anything religious from being 9 years old at Yankee Stadium in 1958.
I remember the airplane ride to get there, the clothes I wore, the Ststen Island Ferry, the Statue of Liberty, shopping at Macy's, the automated food restaurants. I had a great time.
I do not remember anything religious about the 8 day convention at the Pasadena Rose Bowl in 1963.
It was hot. Our house was overflowing with visitors. There was the Freeway to navigate through regular LA downtown traffic. It was no pleasure sitting out in the all day sun.
There was a Spanish JW convention held adjacent to the Rose Bowl. The children were dressed so precious.
What I remember the most, was watching the attendant's bringing stretchers to carry sisters out who had fainted.
I attended all of the CA and DC through the decades.
What do I remember? Ahh ...
Are we talking who was there and what did they wear and who is engaged and who is pregnant and who is sitting with whom and where did we go to eat afterward?
That I could answer.
What I realize from all of that on reflection is I am a social person not a religious one.
